Femdom Art Memories (as told by porkodorko)

I really don’t remember the exact timing of my first attraction to art with a female dominance theme. When you pass your sixtieth birthday, the ability to remember dates becomes compromised along with other physical faculties. I know for sure that I had no idea or inkling of the term “femdom” back then though. I just know I happened to like the notion of the female having physical control or superiority over the male. I don’t know for sure if it was the first comic with this theme that I saw, but for sure, one of the early ones was a underground comic by Robert Crumb which had a woman named Lenore Goldberg as the heroine.I don’t even remember for sure how I came across it, but I do know that her combination of power and size and attitude was a powerful attraction for me.It was probably many years afterward that I first came across art work by Eneg and Stanton, to name a couple, and I found myself perusing those booklets, books, pictures excessively. As I recall, those artists/writers were much more outgoing in their femdom themes and the sexuality was more on the surface than I remembered from the Crumb comic. Finding such material was not easy in the pre-online days, and I found myself frequenting adult stores and used book stores in some rather seedy areas in order to obtain these items.

I guess I can state that the beginning of my attraction to strong, dominant females was in full bloom. Looking back on it after all these years, I definitely think the artwork of Stanton was my favorite even though he had some items where the female was the recipient of the dominance (I skipped those), his works showing female dominance over males in both domestic and other settings was fascinating. I would peruse his materials frequently and got to know much of it by heart. When I first came across the internet, I was able to find more of his material, but unfortunately that was the time when his production was coming to a close. There are still random spots, (sometimes even on Amazon) where you can find his material, but nothing like the prevalence of it in the 60’s and 70’s. I think the combination of great artwork and good story lines in Stanton’s material made it my favorite. Every now and then I still will do a internet search just to look at some of the old pictures from this artist and others of that era.

If you have memories of favorite femdom artists, please feel free to comment and share.
